Although, I saw the latest ice report from Arrowhead and it does not sound good for this weekend from all that rain so think I am just going to try some river fishing this weekend around here while the water is still (weirdly) open. Am very excited to find this site on Ed Shave though! Will head up there soon" Be sure to post pictures and a fishing report!

All I could think was at the landing parking lot.

WanderingWoodsmanMN	12/20/2023 09:00PM Hi friends, Looking at taking a quick trip up towards Ely to find some good ice and do some fishing next weekend, 12/29. No snowmobile so looking at a smaller lake. Also want to winter camp or at least sleep in the truck somewhere nearby. I know it's too early for trout so looking for walleye or panfish. Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks!
