Taking my son for his first Quetico experience. We have a Carp Lake Permit for next Friday. Anyone have a favorite among the different "Man" Lakes or campsites? I have been there in the Winter, but it has been 30 years since I have been there in the Summer! My son is fired up to say the least! Thanks.

You will greatly enjoy the clear, aquamarine waters of Emerald. Rough, rocky country, with high ridges. Very nice.

Just got back. Beautiful! Very few groups. Great smallmouth fishing. We were often the only group on the lake!

The Man chains are hard to beat for beauty and lot of paddling.
