So what displaced the Bermuda High? The warm ocean temps? That would make sense.

I think that's part of it, but that the Bermuda High has been as strong as "normal" makes that somewhat odd.( being displaced to the NE) I don't think forecasters fully understand exactly why it does what it does ( movement) -- just that it is a semi-permanent area of high pressure that shifts-- usually seasonally - but this time out of season. ( not unusual)

I am liking the persistent NE wind. Hopefully that continues into this winter. Epic Lake enhanced snow.
